Brewfest is about much more than beer. It is about making our community a better place. All proceeds benefit Adirondack Theatre Festival and Feeder Canal Alliance, two local not-for-profits that make our region special.
Eleven years ago three ordinary beer loving guys ― a principal (Chris Reed), an optometrist (John Cordes) and a resort manager (Bill Mason) walked into a bar…no sorry thats a different joke. What they did was give our town one of the first area beer festivals. As dedicated community members, however, they wanted to see this Brewfest do much more than simply satisfy a desire for handcrafted brews. They wanted it to have a positive impact on the community.
